Hario was established in 1921 as a manufacturer for heatproof glass. Their speciality today are the beautiful and practical coffee making equipment made of glass, wood, porcelain, steel and other durable and classy materials.
Nowadays Hario is a very popular manufacturer of coffee equipment and their V60-series drippers have become an icon. They also produce high-quality hand grinders; most famous one is probably the classic model Skerton and it's follow-upers. Hario's Buono kettles are popular among the fans of pour-over coffee and for cold brew they provide an excellent selection of stylish pots. True to Japan's unique tea culture Hario also produces beautiful teapots made of glass as well as other tea equipment and storage jars.
