Does what it promises
The basket that comes with this handle easily holds enough coffee for a triple espresso, and using the tamper is also easier because the basket sits evenly on the tamping mat.
The dimensions fit perfectly at least on my Silvia.
It's a whole different issue whether it's worth making triple espressos at all, but you can of course change the basket if you want; the attachment spring is similar (albeit much stiffer) to the Silvia's standard handle. Tip: the overly stiff spring doesn't matter, because in a bottomless portafilter, you can push the basket out from the bottom side.
Doesn't work
The wings of the handle are lower than those of the original handle. For this reason, the handle leaks water from the sides because it doesn't tighten sufficiently. Buy the original.
