The Timemore Bricks 01S is a compact yet impressively capable electric coffee grinder that delivers café-level performance in a clean, minimalist design. Built for dedicated home brewers, it uses 40 mm conical stainless-steel burrs (S2C-040-EI) to produce consistent, even grounds across a range of brewing methods.
Stepless Micro-Adjustment
With 150 micro-adjustable grind settings (each step ~0.01 mm), the Bricks 01S gives you ultra-fine control, from espresso to pour-over. The dosing cup is magnetic, making it easy to attach and remove.
Users also appreciate the low retention (i.e., not much coffee left in the grinder after use) and the consistent grind quality.
Compact Size
Despite its robust build, it has a relatively small footprint (about 10.2 × 15 × 28.6 cm) - perfect for smaller kitchens or coffee stations. Built from a durable aluminum alloy and stainless steel, the Bricks 01S is both sturdy and elegant.

Stylish and convenient coffee grinder
I bought the grinder as a complement to my manual grinder. It is well built and gives a sense of quality that is not a given in this price range.
So far I’ve used it for pour-over and haven’t tried grinding for espresso as that’s not relevant for me at the moment.
It produces a very consistent grind and has a little retention, but that’s to be expected. However, it’s nothing that bothers me or affects my coffee drinking.
All in all, I can definitely recommend this grinder as it has a competitive price and good quality.
A very efficient little machine
Grinds coffee to perfection, nothing much to say I'm very satisfied.
